Are there any monthly or yearly plans?
Some apps do offer them. According to ReelShort’s blog, a yearly plan costs about $199.99. Its monthly price varies between pages. That figure is therefore unconfirmed. DramaWave lists roughly $36.99 a month. In the US, ShortMax offers weekly passes only.
Can I watch without paying anything?
Yes, if you have patience. Start by watching each series’ free opening episodes. Rewarded ads unlock more. Keep a daily check-in streak alive. ReelShort’s official YouTube, TikTok and Dailymotion channels are a further option. You get the most by combining all four.
Subscriptions and How to Cancel
Weekly passes do not stop renewing until you stop them. Plenty of people don’t expect that. Cancelling is fast once you know where. How you paid decides the place. App stores cancel what was bought in them. The company handles purchases made on its website.
Will deleting the app cancel my subscription?
No, and this error is common. According to Apple, removing an app does not end its subscription. Google makes the same point about uninstalling. My Drama’s terms echo that warning. Until you cancel, the pass renews. Cancel first, delete afterward.

Why did I get charged after a free trial?
The wording of trials can confuse. ShortMax’s “free trial” and “24 hours free” labels confused people, its developer admits. Under its terms, passes renew 24 hours before expiry. The renewal costs the same price. A day before any trial ends, cancel. Then check that the store shows it as cancelled.

How do refunds work on Google Play?
What matters most here is timing. Google says you may get a refund within 48 hours of purchase. Request it via Google Play directly. After that window closes, contact the developer. ReelShort directs users to Profile, then Feedback. Act quickly when a renewal surprises you.
What about website purchases?
Those are handled by the app company. There, Apple and Google cannot help. Web purchases are non-refundable except where law requires, according to My Drama’s terms. Can I refund unused coins?

What exactly are ReelBox, DailyShort and GoldShort TV?
They are small apps, and they are unrelated. ReelBox, located through “reel box” or “reelbox tv”, has 50K+ Android installs. There is no link between it and ReelShort or DramaBox. DailyShort, which people often type as “daily short”, has 100K+ installs. With 10K+ installs, GoldShort TV is an Android TV app. GoodShort is probably what most searchers mean.
Is ShortTV the same as ShortMax?
Very likely, but unconfirmed. ShortMax’s legal entity is SHORTTV LIMITED based in Hong Kong. Its website forwards to ShortTV’s site. Each launched in September 2023. No official rename announcement turned up. Searches for “short tv” or “short max” also turn up unrelated apps.
Can mod APKs and coin generators be trusted?
No, and none of them is official. Mod APKs are altered copies of apps from outside official stores. One DramaBox look-alike calls its download an unofficial modified version. Coin generators, too, are unofficial. You can’t verify what they actually do. Use official stores and websites and nothing else.
Why is ReelShort’s Trustpilot rating low?
